ah yes, PLEASE celebrate your 30th! alas maggie was 6 days old when i turned 30 and someone brought me flowers and i was so messed up i was *insulted* (try to make sense of that one)! we had just brought maggie home the hospital the day before and i was still scared and worried and tired and in lots of pain and nobody around me seemed to realize that i was basically having a nervous breakdown, despite LOTS of crying!!! anyway, i sure wish i had celebrated it earlier!!! but how was i to know there’d be so many problems!!!

anyway, i wish michael wasn’t so seemingly DOWN on celebrating birthdays… its like one of those days where ‘being positive’ (which i know we aim to do every day and often find hard to do) is super easy!!! :D
