I have been experiencing a strange and unexpected increase in energy this past week, so instead of blogging I’ve been doing things like laundry, dishes, organizing, cooking, cleaning. It’s great to feel so productive, even if the blog does get neglected. Sorry folks! I’ve got months and months of non-domesticity to catch up on.
It’s going to be quite ’round here for the next week, too, because we finally decided last night that we will go ahead and drive to the NWT to participate in this year’s Petitot Gathering. We debated it because we’ll be further from medical help than we would be here in Whitehorse, and also because it’s quite a long drive (12 hours!) to get there. But after considering the pros and cons we decided we won’t be putting Jade in any danger (we’re confidnet we can deal with any major seizures that might happen, though we hope it won’t) and it’ll be a good experience for her and a nice holiday for us.
There’s a LOT of packing to be done before we can leave tomorrow morning, so I’m off to get at it. See ya’ll in a week.
