Busy busy busy

29 Nov
Hi folks,

Sorry for being out of contact for so long.  I had a great birthday (after a marathon of activity that led me to make two birthday cakes) and then a crazy week as we prepared for two and a half weeks away from home in two totally different climates.  Our trip to Ottawa went very well, with Jade behaving like a perfect angel the whole way.  We’ve already squeezed in a trip to Mississauga and to Orillia, and we’ll be heading for the Dominican Republic in a few days.  It’s a CRAZY trip, but it’s been so great to finally meet our niece Alexandria and to see the family again.  We won’t see too many friends, as there is simply no time; having a baby on a schedule means less time to run around.

Crook and Nanuq seem to be enjoying their holiday from us, as well.  A friend from Fort Liard is staying at our house and has been giving the dog some great walks, despite the -40 weather.  By the time we get home, Nanuq will like Robert better than he likes us!

It might be a while before I make another blog posting — there’s just so much to see and do.

Well, he is one of the things to see, you see.  *sigh* Cut me some slack, girl; that post took me about 45 seconds to do and I was so bagged… 😛
