Happy New Year from the past

31 Dec

MFA Mama just messaged me to wish me a happy new year from Eastern Standard Time, where it is now 2010.  There are only four time zones west of us before you hit the International Date Line and jump into tomorrow, and the last two time zones consist of a handful of islands and reefs, so I can safely say that we are among the last people in the world to see the new year.

According MFA Mama, 2010 has been really awesome so far, so I’m looking forward to getting there.  And I hope the whole rest of 2010 is just as awesome for her and for all of you.
